What is PUBG?
PUBG or Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds is a video game based on mod inspired by the 2000 Japanese film Battle royal. In this 100 players parachute onto an island and scavenge for weapons and equipment to kill or avoiding themselves from getting killed. The player has to move continuously as the safe area on the map decreases in size over time. PUBG was first introduced for Microsoft windows then in 2018 for android and iOS. This game is considered as the best-selling and most played videogame. The directors of the game are Brendan Greene (designer) and Jang Tae-Seok(artist). The game was released on December 20, 2017.
How To Play?
Firstly the player has to install the game from an online website. After downloading and installing the game, the player has to log in himself into the game through Facebook, Twitter, or as a guest in the game. After that, the player has to select his or her unique name with which he can play in the game. Also, the player has to choose the male or female character according to his or her own choice. Then on the main menu, the player has to choose among four different mods i.e., Classic, arcade, arena, and pay lab. The game contains 4 maps as Erangle, Miramar, Vikendi, and Sanhok, and the player can play each of the maps as a squad, duo, or solo.
After selecting the map, the player gets into the place where 100 players are waiting to get into a plane. The plane flies across the map and allows the player to jump on any place they want. Once they land, the players start finding weapons, vehicles, armor, and equipment. All the maps are having houses and places that contain equipment, vehicles, and weapons. The killed player can also be looted. One can play as first person or third person according to their choice base on the pros and cons of each of them. After every few minutes, the safe zone on the map gets decreased. The one who remains out of the safe zone for long gets killed automatically.
A plane also flies across the map that drops a loot pack, or the flare gun can also be used to call the plane for the same. The loot contains high damage weapons and armors. The loot emits red or yellow smoke that attracts players to it. The only player or the team that stands till the last is honored with title as WINNER! WINNER! CHICKEN DINNER!
The game also contains some other mods like TDM (team deathmatch), which is a 4v4 match, and some other mods are also available. With each win or lose, the player can increase or decrease his RP (royal pass) level, which generally denotes how skilled the player is compared to the others playing with him. The player can play the game with or without using the remotes or the triggers that are available online and offline worldwide.
